It is reported that the steel structure warehouse project is located in a concentrated area of regional material storage, adjacent to a logistics transportation corridor. With a total investment of 85 million yuan, it covers an area of 9 mu (approximately 6,667 square meters) and has a total building area of 5,600 square meters. Adopting a single-story, large-span steel structure design, it is mainly used for the professional storage of industrial raw materials, finished products, and circulating materials, suitable for the storage needs of various small and medium-sized enterprises, balancing safety, practicality, and economy.
During the project construction, the construction team optimized the steel structure design based on the specific requirements of material storage, selecting high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel as the main material. This not only provides strong load-bearing capacity and excellent earthquake and wind resistance but also effectively resists the effects of humidity and corrosion, significantly reducing the risk of mold and damage to materials and extending their storage period. The construction employed a prefabricated assembly process, combining factory fabrication with on-site hoisting, simplifying the construction workflow. The main structure and supporting facilities were completed in just three months, increasing construction efficiency by over 45% compared to traditional concrete warehouses and effectively reducing the environmental impact of on-site construction.
To strengthen the safety of stored materials, the steel structure warehouse was designed with enhanced safety features. It utilizes a closed frame structure, equipped with professional moisture-proof, dust-proof, and fire-proof facilities, and features an intelligent temperature and humidity control system. This system precisely adjusts the temperature and humidity according to the storage requirements of different materials, effectively preventing moisture absorption and spoilage. The project manager explained that after the steel structure warehouse is put into operation, it will enable centralized and standardized storage of various materials, with an estimated annual throughput of 380,000 tons. It will serve over 12 surrounding enterprises and meet the various material turnover needs, effectively addressing pain points such as low space utilization and insufficient security in traditional storage models. This will help enterprises improve material management efficiency and reduce storage losses.
