It is reported that the steel-structured livestock shed project is located in an area with a high concentration of large-scale livestock farming, with a total investment of 86 million yuan, covering an area of 12 mu (approximately 1.8 hectares), and a total building area of 6,200 square meters. It is mainly used for the breeding, raising, and temporary transfer of livestock such as pigs and beef cattle, balancing farming safety and operational convenience, and is suitable for the needs of small and medium-sized large-scale farming operations.
During the construction process, the construction team optimized the steel structure design based on the specific requirements of livestock farming, abandoning the drawbacks of traditional brick and wood sheds. High-strength, corrosion-resistant steel was used as the main structure, possessing advantages such as earthquake resistance, wind resistance, moisture resistance, and corrosion resistance. This effectively withstands the impact of extreme weather, extends the service life of the shed, and meets the needs of long-term farming.
